Giving back to our communities is a very important to the Brigido family and to our team members and is a proud part of our organization. Brigido’s Fresh Market has three major areas in which we have joined forces. Hunger relief, with our “Food for Thought” program, funding research grants for epilepsy research through “Brain Storm” program, and through our “Community Fund” program, helping non- profit organizations in the communities in which we work and live.

The Brigido’s Fresh Market family has partnered with CURE, Citizens United for Research Epilepsy, to battle against epilepsy through RI fundraising efforts for much needed research.
The elimination of hunger is vital to the Brigido’s Fresh Market team; therefore we have collaborated with RI Food Bank to work towards ending famine in our communities and throughout RI.

CURE
HOPE * RESEARCH * CUREBrigido’s Fresh Market has joined forces with CURE, Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy, is a volunteer-based nonprofit organization founded by parents of children with epilepsy who were frustrated with their inability to protect their children from the devastation of seizures and the side effects of medications. Unwilling to sit back and accept the debilitating effects of epilepsy, these parents joined forces to spearhead the search for a cure. Administrative costs are kept to a minimum so that money raised can go directly toward epilepsy research aimed at finding a cure.
Rhode Island Community Food Bank
The Food Bank is an innovative leader in solving the problem of hunger. In partnership with our Member Agencies, as well as government and community leaders, we build the public will to ensure that no one in Rhode Island goes hungry. We envision a day when everyone in Rhode Island has access to nutritious food through an efficient and sustainable acquisition and distribution network.
Brigido’s Fresh Market is proud to partner with the RI Community Food bank by hosting food drives and store events, collecting cash donations, and Brigido’s team of associates volunteering at the food bank, all which in turn will help put an end to hunger in the communities we work and live.
